All of my recommendations: in one place
While there are an unlimited amount of resources, these are usually my go-to recommendations. Whether you’re a professional creative, entrepreneur, or simply looking for nice vegan food, you’ll find everything you ever need, right here!
I only ever make recommendations when I am 100% sure it is worth recommending. Some of these tools and resources have affiliate links - an artist has to pay the bills somehow - which means that, if you make a purchase, I get a small % commission at no extra cost to you.
Business and design
Work in the creative industry?
Here are my professional recommendations, from courses to podcasts and extra useful tools.
Creative Business Tools
-
Visualize your storyboards, scripts, and animatics
Boords has always been our go-to tool at Vexquisit for presenting storyboards to clients. It allows you to gather feedback, streamlining the revision and approval process.
Clients love it, and it is super easy to collaborate internally with the team. I can not recommend it enough. Friends get 20% off the first payment when they subscribe through my referral link.
-
Improve your review and collaboration workflow
With Frame.io, you can privately upload, review and share media with your entire team, anywhere in the world 🌍.
Frame.io has also been our preferred software for video revisions. It is super easy and intuitive. We use it internally and externally. It allows on-screen drawing, commenting on the timeline, as well as branding to present final versions.
-
Virtual office parties
The Vexquisit team is spread all over the world. With VR, we feel like we’re in the same location, allowing us to hang out in different social virtual spaces or play some games together (mini-golf isone of our favorites).
-
Broadcasting equipment
Here are all the products I use in my workstation, mainly for video
conference calls and online speaking events. I’ve used Kit to share the products I swear by, including my camera, lens, microphone, sound system, adaptors, tripods, lights, softbox, etc.
-
Borderless international payments
I have been using Wise since I moved to Germany. It’s an international multi-currency account with cheap exchange rates and their customer service is great too!
At Vexquisit, we went borderless to make transactions between us and our clients easier, without any of the hidden fees that other banks or Paypal charge. With my referral link, you get a fee-free transfer up to 500 EUR.
Online courses for creatives
-
Prompmaster
Learning everything about AI here! Great community and awesome courses! Cannot recommend enough.
-
The Futur Pro Group: an online community supporting you to manage and grow your business
This community helps creatives around the world manage and grow their businesses. It provides direct access to an internal library of group calls, mentorship, live group coaching, and accountability.
I’ve been part of this community since 2018. Sometimes I take a short break from it when life gets too busy but it’s so easy to dive straight back in. I can fully recommend trying it for yourself!
-
The Futur - Business Bootcamp: grow your business with this coaching program
As someone who has been focused on the creative side most of my life, I found the Business Bootcamp experience extremely valuable and eye-opening.
This is an intensive course only for those who want to take their creative business to the next level and can fully invest their time into it. It has lifelong access, which is great because every time I revisit the sessions I hear tips and tricks I missed the first time. 100% worth the commitment.
-
The Futur - Practical Project Management: learn how to manage profitable projects
Another game-changing course if you are dealing directly with clients and need guidance optimizing workflows, communication, and timelines. Like any course, you must be willing to put the work into it.
Successful project management adds to the customer service experience and fosters a happy long-lasting relationship with the client as well as with the internal team, which I’ve found incredibly beneficial.
-
The Futur - Stylescapes: helping you to create a well-curated and repeatable creative process
The learnings from this course are extremely helpful to implement after any type of discovery session or brand strategy workshop.
Through Stylescapes, we can translate words into images. With this visual representation of a concept, you will get alignment with your clients before you ever design anything. This will allow less room for mistakes and a clear path for a team to implement creative solutions, leading to more confident presentations and faster approval rates
-
School of Motion: courses for motion designers at every stage of their career
School of Motion (SOM) courses are well-structured and usually last several weeks. They are pre-recorded but each student gets a teaching assistant to review exercises and help them grow with the course.
SOM is an awesome resource to stay up to date or refresh some knowledge! I always recommend junior animators to take Animation Bootcamp.
-
The Futur - The Complete Case Study: learn how to craft compelling case studies
This guidebook gives you the clarity you need to build the perfect portfolio, including where to start, how to synthesize information and when to show off the process.
The Complete Case Study was extremely helpful for setting up and presenting the projects we've done at Vexquisit. Thanks to this course, we use less technical jargon to demonstrate the creative process and, instead, illustrate the end value and achievements of each project.
-
The Futur - Color for Creatives: master how to see, understand and use color
The right color palette can make or break a brand, logo, or any type of design.
This course goes beyond the regular color theory. It teaches how to see, understand, and use color to create fresh, original work and how to source references and build your own color palettes, entirely from scratch. This has been one of the most fun courses I’ve taken from The Futur. Greg Gunn is so knowledgeable, funny, and super entertaining!

Knowledge is Power
Need an incentive to go vegan? Here is the largest collection of vegan
movies and documentaries, simply pick the first one that piques your interest and take it from there. The animals? Your health? The planet? From my experience, going vegan for the animals tends to be the strongest motivator. My top recommendations are: Game Changers (this one is non-graphic), Seaspiracy, Cowspiracy, Dominion, What the Health, and Earthlings.
-
Vida Verde: fuente de recursos, recomendaciones y recetas para un estilo de vida consciente.
For my Spanish speaking friends I recommend Vida Verde:
VidaVerde es una fuente de información que comparte artículos sobre el estilo de vida consciente desde todas las perspectivas: animales, planeta, bienestar personal y emprendimiento. Todo lo que crean es positivo, inclusivo, e invita a tomar acción, de la forma y en la medida en la que sea posible para cada quien.
-
CEVA: increasing the effectiveness of vegan advocates and organizations
For most of us, the biggest challenge going vegan is helping our friends and family open up to veganism. And for activists, to be sustainable and achieve positive results.
Thanks to the Center for Effective Vegan Advocacy (CEVA), I have personally been able to enjoy way healthier relationships with my non-vegan friends and family. While enjoying a vegan Christmas in the process.
Yummy food (the main perk of veganism)

Must try in Berlin
Berlin is arguably THE vegan capital of the world. So it has A LOT of vegan restaurants - easy to find through a Google search or Happy Cow!! This is a shortlist of ONLY my favorite places :)
-
Must try in Valencia
Although Valencia does not have as many vegan restaurants as Berlin, there are still many amazing vegan-friendly restaurants that I am continuing to discover! And the friendliness of the city makes it so easy to eat vegan delicious food when eating out!
-
HappyCow: vegan food recommendations great for travelling vegans
I am a total HappyCow fan and use it whenever I travel! It’s often a lot better than using Google since most reviews are by vegans that also know how good vegan food can be and don't believe that a tomato pasta qualifies as a decent vegan dish ;) (the app is also pretty cheap. Worth it!)
-
Veecoco: vegan online cooking courses
This online vegan cooking school hosts courses by expert chefs from around the world and they’re always adding new lessons!
